As you might recognize this page's setup is borrowed (copied from) Jake's 0 to 3 months.  And just looking back at that makes me emotional!  He's a great big brother and I know that Lauren is blessed to have him and he is blessed to have her.  We have prayed so much for the blessing of this child, that it is truly a gift from God to even have this page.

These three months have been quite full to say the least!  Lots of hanging on and lots of letting go.  I am so thankful to God for his faithfulness to see us through this!  He blessed us with another healthy baby on Tuesday, April 8th, 2003 at 8:36 AM.  Lauren Nichole Blitch was born via c-section on that morning weighing 7 pounds 15 ounces and measuring 20 inches, she seemed tiny compared to her big brother.  Yet the nurses reminded me that those measurements were not tiny compared to the averages.  

Lauren is a very active, strong baby!  She rolled over for the first time at 7 weeks 1 day old tummy to back, and just to be sure I could not be an exaggerating mommy, she did it in a very controlled way while be examined by her pediatrician.  She first mastered rolling over tummy to back, then moved on to back to tummy on July 6, 2003, 2 days before she reached 3 months.
