Shooting stars ~  A glimpse into a conversation:

Lauren:  (leaning in close) Mom, shooting stars don’t shoot people do they?

Me:  No, Lauren, shooting stars don’t shoot people.

Lauren:  I know.  They’re nice, right? 

Me:  Yes.  But Lauren they are called shooting stars because they move across the sky, not because they have bullets or anything like a gun.
