It was  “Grandparent’s Day” at Jake’s school.  My mom had surgery very recently and was not going to be able to fly up so I had told her that I would try to video tape the production (I was taking the day off of work).  Here’s a little conversation Lauren and I had (this girl really "gets" some very spiritual deep meanings very quickly sometimes):

Lauren (intrigued by my getting the camera things together):  Mommy, what are you doing with that camera. 

Mom:  I’m getting it ready so that I can use it tomorrow during Jakey’s Grandparent’s day program.

Lauren (obviously deep in thought):  Mommy, God doesn’t have grandkids, does He? 

Mom:  Well, no Lauren He doesn’t … isn’t it so cool that we each get to have Him be our Heavenly Father.

Lauren (chuckles):  Yep, He’s my Dad and my dad’s Dad.
