Daru has been an eye catching puppy since she first arrived from Germany. She won her AKC field championship with three 5 point majors! And has continued to lure course well in ASFA.
Daru went out to Wyoming open field coursing in Oct 2005 and was ASTOUNDING hunting white tail jack rabbits. She was in three breed hunts and won them all (including a field of 27 for the fall classic). She was in two mixed hunts and got 4th of 15. She had one unassisted kill (and two unofficial kills). This is an amazingly talented borzoi!
Daru has finished her show championship just as quickly, winning three majors and several BOS wins over specials..
Daru had a gorgeous litter of 11 in March of 2006 sired by Silkenswift Stardust. There are two Dual Champions, 3 show Champions, two FC's and an LCM. In May of 2008 Daru had a litter sired by DC Silkenswift Blaze's Darkfire, LCM6, GRC. So far there are two show champions and two field champions with several more on their way.
Daru is a borzoi dream come true.
