Laika is our parti 'party girl'.  She won Best in Sweeps for her first show and Best of Breed over 40 borzoi at her third.  Laika finished her show championship with 4 majors and was three times breed over multiple specials.  She is also an enthusiastic and talented lure courser.  Laika is my happiest borzoi ever. 

In Spring of 2005, Laika won an award of merit at the BCOA national specialty.  Then she packed her bags for visit to Gemany.  Robert and Silvia Kalinowski enjoyed her winning ways in Europe as well - including a Best in Show.  Laika had a litter for Kalinow borzoi in November 2006.  Laika has returned to America in November 2007, she looks great and has been back out lure coursing.  Puppies are planned for 2008.
